Golden Duan ni Clay
Golden Duan Ni clay is produced in the Yellow Dragon Mountain (Huang Long Shan) of Yixing. The original ore is nearly white in appearance, and after firing becomes earthy yellow in colour. Only the highest quality Duan Ni clay with above 6% iron content, will become golden yellow after firing.
A teapot made from golden duan ni clay is suitable for a wide range of teas. Pretty much, any kind of teas can be brewed with it. The aromatic enhancement of the prepared tea is obvious, and the the teapot will become lustrous like jade overtime with regular use.
